Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Salem, Virginia is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment. The role requires a valid RN license, a nursing degree, and current certifications with a focus on perinatal care.

You will work nights on a 12-hour shift (36 hours per week) with travel benefits including housing options, weekly pay, and comprehensive credentialing support through MedPro's network.

Qualifications

Active RN license.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and their newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth and identify potential high-risk problems.
Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
