Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Mission Hills, California. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and requires BLS/NRP along with an active CA RN license.

The nurse will care for high-risk obstetric patients, including magnesium sulfate postpartum care, with duties spanning cesarean and vaginal deliveries in a 20-bed unit. Start date is 11/02/2026; travel staff should be prepared to float as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure valid in state of California
• minimum 1 year of L&D experience
• BLS and NRP certifications required

Responsibilities

• Care for high‑risk obstetric patients including antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum,
• Assist with cesarean deliveries and vaginal deliveries
• Monitor and manage maternal and neonatal conditions and administer magnesium sulfate as prescribed
• Float within division to Labor & Delivery recovery, NICU, and postpartum as needed
