Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Ada, Oklahoma. This role features 36 hours per week, night shifts, and competitive pay with comprehensive benefits.

Requirements include 1 year of L&D RN experience, an active Oklahoma RN license, BLS and NRP certifications. Start ASAP with potential for additional opportunities through Fusion’s clinical team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Valid RN license in Oklahoma or eligible
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP Certification required or in process

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards
• Assist physician during labor, delivery and examinations
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and infant care
• Document care, assessments and interventions accurately
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols
• Participate in quality improvement to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes
