MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana. The contract runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The candidate must hold an active RN license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications, plus 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience. Benefits include weekly pay and housing options.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care L&D setting.
• Client facility may have additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during and after delivery.
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Identify and monitor high-risk conditions; educate families.
• Support mothers and families throughout the birthing process.
