American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor and Delivery in Oklahoma City, OK. The role is a travel assignment offering 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with ASAP start for 13 weeks.

Requirements include an active Oklahoma or compact RN license, 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience, an ADN, and BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications. Perks include comprehensive benefits and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of one year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS (AHA only), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Provider or NRP Instructor (AHA only).

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Labor & Delivery department of a hospital setting.
• Care provided for obstetric patients including those with complex health issues.
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three days per week.
• Level 1 Labor & Delivery experience is required.
• Patient assignments may involve a range of situations from uncomplicated to critical cases.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers, including medication administration, physiological monitoring, and assisting with minor procedures.
• Interact with patients and families to educate and support care planning and discharge.
• Delegate appropriately to support staff and work closely with physicians.
• May perform additional duties in collaboration with leadership and peers.
• Position requires the ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the unit's schedule.

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

BLS certification

ACLS (AHA only)
