Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The RN will support obstetric patients, monitor labor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care.

Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assess maternal and fetal health and monitor during labor.
- Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing practices.
- Assist physician during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections as needed.
- Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
- Document care accurately in the medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement to improve outcomes.
