Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a Labor and Delivery Travel RN for a 13-week assignment at Grandview Medical Center. This Nights shift, 3x12 schedule, pays $1,796 per week.

As the L&D RN on assignment, you'll monitor maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through every stage of labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Active Alabama RN License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
• Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
• Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines
