Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Flowood, Mississippi. The assignment runs for 8 weeks with 36 hours per week on day shifts (07:00–19:00) in a hospital L&D unit.

Required: active MS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of L&D experience. Travel position offers per diem, licensure reimbursements, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active MS or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment.
• Candidate must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within past 2 years.
• Travel; non-taxed per diem and subsidy are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and assist with deliveries.
• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit on day shifts 07:00–19:00.
• Orientation provided at the beginning of the assignment; holiday coverage may be required.
