Job summary
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Beverly, MA. The nurse will apply the nursing process and deliver high-quality patient care in the L&D setting, performing clinical judgments under supervision.
The role involves assisting mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, monitoring vitals, educating patients, and addressing psychosocial needs after delivery. Requires active RN license in MA and relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
- One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
- RNC-OB preferred.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR if applicable.
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care in the Labor and Delivery setting.
- Monitors maternal vitals and signs of potential complications.
- Educates patients and supports psychosocial needs after delivery.
- Coordinates patient care and supports the nursing team.
