Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 26-week travel assignment in Eureka, CA. You will provide obstetric nursing care, monitor mother and baby, administer meds, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

One year recent experience as Labor and Delivery RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Responsibilities

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards
Aid physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations
Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn stabilization
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and the care team
Monitor fetal status and interpret fetal monitoring results
Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols
Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives
