Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Dover, NH. Start date 11/03/2026, 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, travel employment.

Requirements include 1 year of L&D RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and NRP. Preferred certifications include AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE and ACLS. Competitive benefits accompany this travel role.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examination.
• Provide immediate postpartum care including mother and newborn stabilization.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesiologists to deliver cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document care, assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
