Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hazard, KY. This role requires KY or compact licensure, 5+ years of L&D experience, and current BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications. Work 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:30) on a rotating schedule with 36 hours per week.

Travel benefits include housing stipends, per diem, licensure reimbursement, and a robust benefits package. Bi-weekly orientation is provided and fellow travelers are supported by a 24/7 team.

Qualifications

Active KY or compact RN license.
Minimum 5 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
Experience using Meditech EMR.
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit.
Provide care to laboring and postpartum patients.
Assigned to 12-hour day shifts, 07:00 to 19:30.
Rotating weekly schedule of 36 and 48 hours over a two-week pay period.
Patient ratios and assignments may fluctuate based on census and staffing.
Bi-weekly orientation provided.
