Job Summary: Lapar & Delivery Department nurse in a birth center setting. This role involves providing professional nursing care for laboring patients, including delivery, postpartum care for mothers and newborns, and collaborating with the care team. The position requires critical thinking, independent judgment, and supervision of the nursing patient care team to ensure safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan (MI) registered nurse license; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); two years of recent birthing center experience; at least 2 years of professional nursing experience; experience with laboring patients, delivery, and postpartum care; prior travel experience preferred; ability to obtain and maintain active NRP certification; own vehicle required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience; active NRP certification is preferred but may be obtained after hire.
• Additional Information: Client will consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility at a 10% decrease in rate/hour. Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. All scheduling requests must be made at submission. Any/all RTO must be included in the profile prior to submission; facility will not approve requests at/after the time of offer or interview.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
