Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position in Weatherford, TX. This role involves providing compassionate care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a small unit environment. The employment duration is approximately three months, with the opportunity to support a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery, neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification, and experience managing deliveries including cesarean section (CS) and spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD).
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with additional skills in catching babies during deliveries, routine postpartum (PP) care, circumcisions, and GYN postpartum patients will be considered first.
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets
• Unit Information:
  • 10-bed Mom Baby unit
  • Staff: 2-3 RNs per shift depending on patient acuity
  • Equipment: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems including CPN and Meditech
• Unit Environment:
  • Patient-centered, teamwork-oriented, and supportive staff
  • Known for great patient experiences and a caring, team-oriented culture
