Job summary

The Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN for a travel nursing role in a hospital setting. You will provide obstetric care to high-risk laboring patients, perform assessments, assist during deliveries, and manage postpartum care in a dynamic environment.

Night shifts are 12 hours with a minimum 36 hours per week, including weekends, and you may float to similar units as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Kansas RN license or a Compact state license.
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• BLS, AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced, and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care for high-risk laboring patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor fetal status.
• Assist with deliveries and manage postpartum care.
• Float to similar units as needed and participate in weekend rotations.
• Complete onsite orientation.

Job description
