American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery travel RN in Gilbert, AZ. Requires 2+ years L&D, AZ or compact RN license, and active certifications. 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly, with travel between two local hospital sites.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of application.
• Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring are required.
• Experience circulating for C-sections is necessary.
• Pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam before acceptance (max 2 attempts).
• Successful completion of a sterile skills Sim Lab and Day 1 assessment mandatory.
• Copy of valid driver’s license is required.
• Two recent professional references (last 12 months supervisor, last 3 years peer/supervisor).

Responsabilités

• Acute care hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 1:1 for active delivery and 1:2 for regular labor.
• Circulating for C-sections and follow-through to OR/PACU.
• Frequent floating between Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Postpartum units; across two area hospitals.
• Cerner EMR charting is used for documentation.
• Night shifts are 12 hours (7:00pm–7:30am) with weekend rotation.
• 24/7 anesthesia, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy support.
• Unit orientation consists of three shifts; unit handles ~300–325 births per month.
