Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a Columbus, OH assignment. The RN will provide labor/delivery care, monitor maternal-fetal status, administer medications, and collaborate with obstetric teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in L&D, BLS/ACLS/NRP, IV start skills, and Epic experience. Travel nurses welcome; night 12-hour shifts with 36 hours/week guaranteed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
Proficiency in IV starts; Labor & Delivery experience required.
Epic electronic health record experience preferred.
Travel nursing experience is a plus.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and experience to provide exceptional care in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor.
Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records.
Float to other units as necessary to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Proficiency in IV start and experience in Labor and Delivery required.

Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.

Shift Details

This position requires working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week.
