Job summary

TotalMed RN in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse to support obstetric care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will work 12-hour day shifts, monitor labor progression, and assist during delivery while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Preferred candidates have 3 years of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This travel assignment offers a tax-free stipend and weekly pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NRP; 3 years of recent acute care experience; ability to stand/walk long shifts; 12-hour shifts; lifting up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule including days.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and breathing techniques; assist physicians with epidurals, pain management, and delivery preparations.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, instruments; manage immediate newborn care.
