Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in CT
• At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (preferred)
• RNC-OB preferred
• CPR certification
• TB/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Health certificate current per contract or regulation
• Meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to mothers during labor and delivery
• Monitor maternal vitals and fetal status
• Educate patients and family during postpartum period
