Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Gadsden, Alabama. The position is for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, and travel benefits apply.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience, along with BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications. Housing options and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor mother and baby vital signs during birth and identify potential high-risk issues.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
• Ensure both medical and emotional needs are addressed throughout the delivery process.
