Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for perinatal care on a 13-week travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. The night shift runs 7 PM to 7 AM, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

Start date is 10/05/2026; pay is travel-based with stipends and local rates varying by location. The RN will provide independent perinatal nursing care, assess and plan patient care, administer medications, document histories, and educate families, while meeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN License in the state of TX or compact.
• Current certifications required from AWHONN Intermediate or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and ACLS (AHA only).
• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire and be precepted by a designated trained staff member.
• Completion of all annual competency verification requirements is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
• Documents patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care administered accurately.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
