American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery registered nurse for a travel assignment in Rochester, Michigan. The role requires MI RN license and BLS/NRP, with a 13-week duration and a 48-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include caring for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients across L&D, postpartum, and special care units, with potential float to a sister hospital. Background checks and credentialing are required before start.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years L&D experience; 3 years preferred
• MI RN license and travel readiness desired

Responsibilities

• Work in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Special Care units
• Care for laboring, postpartum, and newborns
• Night shift: 7:00 pm–7:30 am; three 12-hour shifts
• Must work every other weekend; possible float to nearby hospital
• Use Cerner EMR with prior experience required
• Complete assessments, planning, and family care evaluation
