Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Joplin, Missouri. This travel assignment offers 14 weeks, 36 hours per week, and a night shift.

The candidate must hold an active RN license with a nursing degree from an accredited program and relevant L&D certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS). Minimum experience and facility-specific requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in acute care L&D.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and their newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
