Job summary

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, VA. This 13-week assignment features a Nights shift (4, 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00) with a start date of 10/12/2026 and Epic charting in a 618-bed Level 1 acute care hospital.

Experience required: 2 years in Labor & Delivery; VA or Compact license, CPR/NRP/AWHONN certifications. Travel experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Certification requirements: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS and NRP.
• VA License or Compact License required; quick licensing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during labor, delivery and immediate postpartum.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and respond to abnormalities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and document in Epic.
