Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing position in Key West, Florida. The contract runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour week and night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

The RN will provide care through antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases, following Nursing Process and hospital policy. Minimum 2 years of travel experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby units are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of prior travel experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby units.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
• PALS certification required within 30 days of start if not previously obtained.
• AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite.
• Must possess a valid state RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Labor and Delivery patients during their hospital stay.
• Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care delivery.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
