Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Smyrna, Tennessee. Join our Women's Services team to support laboring patients and provide birth experiences with 24/7 in-house coverage.

The role includes OR circulating duties, collaboration with midwives and CRNA/OB teams, and care for high-risk deliveries, with a 13-week contract and night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring certifications.

Responsibilities

• Circulating in the OR and supporting various procedures, including IUPC, FSE, and MgSO4 administration.
• Promoting vaginal birth opportunities aligned with patient preferences.
• Providing couplet care in the postpartum unit, ensuring newborns remain at the bedside.
• Collaborating with a midwife team and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Assisting in the operating room and attending to high-risk deliveries as needed.
