Job summary

Healthforce in Keene, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery for a 13- week travel assignment starting 08/17/2026. Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, about 48 hours per week, at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital specializing in obstetric and newborn care.

You will provide direct nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother/baby services. Requirements include NH RN license (or compact), BLS, NRP, Epic EMR experience, and at least two years of L&D experience.

Qualifications

Active NH RN license or compact license.
BLS and NRP certifications active.
AWHONN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns across labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother/baby care.
Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and respond to obstetric emergencies.
Document patient information in Epic EMR and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
Maintain infection control, safety, and participate in unit quality initiatives.
