Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. The position is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, typically on 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM).

You will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit and support families through childbirth. Requirements include 2+ years in Labor and Delivery, high-risk delivery experience, and NRP and BLS/ALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• High-risk delivery experience is essential.
• NRP and BLS/ALS certifications are required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care during labor and delivery.
• Monitor patient vitals and fetal heart rates using electronic fetal monitoring systems.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other related procedures.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
