MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 14-week assignment in Sacramento, California. The role requires 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a strong acute care L&D background.
Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications are required, along with 18 months of recent L&D experience. Housing options, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
Responsibilities
- Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and their newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
- Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
- Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
- Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
