Cross Country Nurses seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Aurora, Colorado. The role focuses on labor, delivery and postpartum care in a busy obstetrics unit, with emphasis on patient safety and high-quality nursing skills.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care L&D experience, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and ability to circulate for Cesarean procedures. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year current acute care L&D RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Must be able to circulate for Cesarean section procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor, delivery and postpartum patient care.
• Monitor labor progression and triage OB patients.
• Circulate for Cesarean section procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 13-bed unit.
• Utilize Cervidil, Cytotec and Pitocin per protocol.
