Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Greeley, CO. The role involves direct patient care in obstetrics, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of L&D RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS, NRP certifications, with additional ACLS and AWHONN fetal monitoring credentials preferred. Travel benefits and comprehensive insurance are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery and examination
• Provide immediate postpartum care and assess mother and newborn
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols
• Document care in the medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve outcomes
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Comply with hospital policies and regulations
• Perform other duties within the scope of labor and delivery nursing
