Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Tyler, Texas. The RN should have 3 years of acute care experience and be able to work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring labor, assisting during delivery, newborn care, and preparing for cesarean deliveries as needed. ACLS, BLS, NRP and AWHONN certifications are required.

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
