Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor and Delivery in Silvis, Illinois. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour evening shifts, starting ASAP.
An active IL RN license and BLS certification are required; AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification is preferred or may be required by the unit. You will care for laboring mothers and newborns in a Birth Center setting, with travel and licensure reimbursements, benefits from day one, and a collaborative team
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred or as required by the unit.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Birth Center setting specializing in Labor & Delivery and Special Care Nursery.
- Care for laboring mothers and newborns in an LDRP environment.
- Night shift schedule from 17:00 to 05:30.
- Weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of the rotation.
- Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
- Duties may include caring for infants in the Special Care Nursery.
- Work as part of a collaborative team in the Birth Center.
- Completion of required licensure and certification verifications prior to start.
