Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Williston, North Dakota for Labor and Delivery. This 18-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and ASAP start.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of acute care experience and current BLS certification. Travel RNs will support obstetric patients through labor and delivery, assist physicians with epidurals, monitor mother and newborn, and ensure safety and cleanliness on the unit.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent acute care nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; additional obstetric certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Maintain clean and dry beds; manage fluids and waste.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, and delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.
