Job summary

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Macon, Georgia.

The role includes caring for Labor & Delivery and Postpartum patients, with potential float to other units, while maintaining safe patient ratios and utilizing EPIC for charting. The position is a travel assignment with a 12-week duration, 40 hours per week, night shift, ASAP start, and a $500 contract completion bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Postpartum RN experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, BCR, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
• Strong clinical assessment and Mother Baby skills for Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting
• EMR system: EPIC

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Labor & Delivery and Postpartum patients including vaginal and C-section deliveries, with occasional overflow hysterectomies
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3-4 couplets with CNA support of 2-3 per shift
• May be required to float to all adult med-surg and telemetry units in-house
• Scrub color: L&D surgical green with scrub exchange system
