Responsibilities

• Document care and ensure patient safety in Meditech EMR.
• Maintain patient ratios and assist with procedures on a 25-bed unit.

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Postpartum Care for a position located in McKinney, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality postpartum nursing care in a facility with 25 beds, supporting both mother-baby and gynecological patient needs. The RN will work a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a schedule of at least 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Position: Travel - RN Postpartum (661) / McKinney / 7A-7P
• Location: 4500 Medical Center Drive, McKinney, TX 75069
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), postpartum and mother-baby experience, Texas location requirement, at least 1 year of clinical experience in postpartum or maternal health
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mother-baby units, GYN surgery experience, warm and bubbly personality
• Unit Description: Postpartum unit with 25 beds, staffed with 4-5 nurses per shift, patient ratios of 1:5-6, utilizing EMR Meditech and CPNTypical procedures include postpartum care and GYN surgeries.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The candidate should possess a warm and bubbly personality ideal for working in maternal-child care environments.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
