Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiography Technologist to support a client in New Orleans, LA. The role entails performing complex angiographic and interventional procedures, operating radiographic equipment, and ensuring patient safety across shifts.

Ideal candidates will have proven IR experience, strong decision-making, and excellent communication with patients and staff. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with 10-hour shifts and 4x10 schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Operate radiographic equipment for interventions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document procedures and outcomes and liaise with team.
