Job summary

GHR Healthcare seeks an experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Meridian, Idaho. The role supports neuro, vascular, and body IR procedures within an acute-care hospital team, offering exposure to a range of interventional techniques and patient care activities.

The position requires IR scrubbing experience, ARRT certification, and BLS; optional on-call with defined response times may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.
• At least 1 year scrubbing Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Neuro and vascular experience, including CVA and carotid stent procedures.
• Body interventional radiology experience.
• ARRT certification; ARRT (CV) preferred or required depending on assignment scope.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to participate in optional call with required response time.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with a broad range of interventional radiology procedures.
• Support neuro, vascular, and body cases, including embolization and carotid stents.
• Assist with nephrostomy, nephroureteral stents, ports, gastrostomy tubes, AV fistula procedures, TIPS, and PICC placement.
• Prepare procedure rooms, verify supplies and equipment, and maintain sterile technique.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and the imaging team to ensure safe patient care.
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Epic.
• Support mainly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases.
