Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Savannah, Georgia. The IR tech will assist with procedures, operate imaging equipment, and support the interventional radiology team in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications include one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. Preferred ACLS, radiologic technologist license, PALS or ENPC, and ongoing commitment to patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• One year of IR tech experience required.
• Certification in ARRT/RCIS/RCES and BLS.
• ACLS and other pediatric/catheterization certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, CT and ultrasound to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure patient care.
• Follow infection control and regulatory standards.
