Job summary

TotalMed Allied has an opening for an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians, and care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of acute care IR experience and must hold BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), with state licensing as required. Vascular Interventional certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care IR experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification and state licensing when required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians in image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Maintain and document patient records; observe radiation safety standards.
