Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin. You will join a clinical team, provide imaging support for interventional procedures, and ensure patient care and safety in a fast-paced lab. Start date 10/26/2026 with 40 hours/week, days.

Must have ARRT/RCIS/RCES, one year IR tech experience, and BLS. ACLS and other certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
