Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Germantown, Tennessee. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and support complex vascular procedures in a fast-paced IR lab.

Requirements include one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, and current BLS. Travel benefits and comprehensive pay are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures.
Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures.
Monitor vital signs and procedural details.
Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide patient care.
Follow infection control and regulatory protocols.
Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
