Focus Staff seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Santa Maria, CA assignment. The position requires 13 weeks of travel with 40 hours per week and 4x10 hour days, supporting interventional radiography procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of IR Radiography experience, strong patient-safety knowledge, and excellent communication with staff and patients.

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work with others.
• Meet local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems related to modalities.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
