Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York. The role runs 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts.

The position is 12 weeks with a potential to extend; on-call/callback/holiday coverage applies per unit needs. Requirements include NYS license (or able to obtain before start), ARRT, and BLS (American Heart Association). VIR certification is preferred. Will consider 6 month contractors.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience required.
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) required.
• ARRT certification required.
• NYS License or ability to obtain prior to start.
• VIR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors, positioning and produces diagnostic-quality images.
• Assists Radiologist during procedures and prepares patients for examinations.
• Operates equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Completes procedures timely and assists with room turnover.
• Maintains medication security and patient confidentiality.
• Provides healthcare services across all age groups and uses HIS/RIS/PACS.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
