Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The role runs 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week, eight-hour days, five days per week, plus on-call duties. Start date is 11/16/2026, in a hospital setting, with weekly pay in the stated range.

The position requires ARRT, BLS, and IR/EVOR experience, with Cerner EMR familiarity. On-site work and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with 2 years in diagnostic radiology.
• BLS certification required.
• IR or EVOR experience; able to perform IR procedures and assist MD.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Preferred: vascular/coronary angiography and catheterization experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist the physician during procedures
• Prepare patients for IR procedures, monitor status, and maintain sterile technique and safety
• Operate interventional imaging equipment, ensure image quality, and support radiation safety
• Assist with vascular, coronary angiography, and other special procedures; support catheterization as needed
• Document procedures in the Cerner EMR and ensure accurate notes
• Maintain equipment readiness, room turnover, and participate in on-call coverage as assigned
