Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The role involves supporting Interventional Radiology procedures, patient care, and post-procedure monitoring.

Travel RN with active RN license, BLS, and 18 months IR experience is required; 13-week assignment with 40 hours/week. Housing and benefits provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in interventional radiology

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to patient and family.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medications including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
