Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to perform procedures using imaging guidance through the vascular system. This contract assignment runs for 13 weeks in Hermiston, Oregon with a 5x8 shift schedule.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, active licensure, BLS, with at least 2 years of experience and a strong focus on patient safety. Compensation varies by location and experience, with benefits including 401K matching and licensing reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, including checking vital signs.
• Analyze lab results and medical history.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove IV lines.
• Administer drugs, including conscious sedation drugs.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patients.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
• All other responsibilities as needed.

We currently have a client in Hermiston, OR looking for a Travel IR RN - Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse! Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology RN to use imaging guidance to perform procedures through the body’s vascular system to perform therapeutic procedures.

Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Being Compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite for the profession. The ideal Candidate goes a step further by being a critical thinker and fast to act with emergencies.
