Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Radiology RN for a travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. The RN Interventional Radiology will provide bedside care in a diagnostic imaging environment, following physician instructions and protocols.

Position details: 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and a current BLS certification. Travel experience is a plus; benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required; additional certifications may be required.
• Travel nursing assignment in radiology, Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, and help patients with their personal needs.
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.
