Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Urbana, Illinois. You will work 40 hours per week on 10-hour days in a vascular IR unit, assisting with complex procedures and patient care.

ARRT(R) certification, BLS/ACLS, and sterile technique are required. The role offers travel benefits and comprehensive medical and housing stipends as part of the assignment package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology required.
• ARRT(R) certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• IEMA Radiography license required if applicable.
• Procedural radiologic setting experience preferred.
• Interventional neurology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast material via IV line or venipuncture and respond to hypersensitivity.
• Assist physicians during procedures; provide direct patient care and confidentiality.
• Check patient identity, diagnosis, and positioning before procedures.
• Document procedures and communicate doses and counts to staff.
• Assist with inventory and supply management.
• May train new staff as needed.
• On-call duties and variable shifts to meet department needs.
