American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Vascular Interventional Radiology unit. The role requires 12 months of vascular procedure experience and active ARRT (R) certification.

Ideal candidates have ARRT (CI/VI) and Iowa license considerations; BLS preferred and driving license required. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during procedures, with call duties and potential cross-campus assignments.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (R) certification required.
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; licensing candidates will be considered; license required if applicable.
• Minimum 12 months vascular procedure experience in hospital/medical center.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required.
• Peripheral vascular experience required.
• Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Invasive Vascular Services unit performing vascular procedures.
• Approximately 25 cases per day.
• Days shift, 4x10 hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.
• Call requirements of 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend from 7p Friday through 7a Monday.
• Float across campuses as needed.
• Call team covers two facilities with most emergencies handled at Level I trauma facility.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during vascular procedures.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; licensing candidates will be considered; license required if applicable

• Minimum of 12 months vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required
• Peripheral vascular experience required
• Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required
• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting preferred
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
